Who We Are

Amanda Shufelt

Hello everyone my name is Amanda Shufelt, owner of Comfort Mechanics LLC. I was born and raised in VT and moved to NY in 2018. I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from College of St. Joseph and a Masters degree in Child Development from Southern New Hampshire University. While my passion may not be HVAC, it certainly is my husbands. He has worked in the HVAC field for over 10 years. Together him and I decided to start a small family business. We have three beautiful kids that keep us going. One day we hope our kids will have the same passion as us, and would love to see them take over our company. Jeff Shufelt

I have worked in the HVAC industry for the last 12 years. I am certified through National Grid for underground gas pipe installation and a universal refrigeration license. I am also OSHA 10 certified. Technology has come very far over the last decade and we will keep up to date on all of the latest technology and remain certified. We will be continuing education on the ever changing Heat Pump Technology so we can better serve you.
